Horseback riding

Welcome to experience the peace and freedom of nature in Finland: Pertunmaa, Mäntyharju!
I offer private riding on Icelandic horses (=one person at a time, perfect for lone travelers who do not wish to be part of a big tourist group!) in the Finnish countryside and forests. I do this in my own free style; the horses are ridden bareback (using a riding belt with stirrups and a blanket, with a sturdy handle on the belt). Riding is just as safe as with a saddle, but you are closer to the horse and feel its warmth! (Of course, you can also use a saddle if you wish.).

The Icelandic horse has its own very soft gait; tölt, which you can try out if you wish. Everyone also has the opportunity to try cantering safely. The rides are suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders.

It is recommended that the customer has their own accident insurance. If necessary, you can borrow a helmet from the stable. Please prepare yourself with clothing suitable for riding and the weather. Weight limit 95kg. A more detailed address will be provided upon booking.
